Statement from David Sewell
Although I am disappointed in the voting results in my race for the Texas House of Representatives on March 2nd, I am proud of the campaign we ran and the effort we put forth. We kept it honest, respectful, and focused on the issues facing our district and Texas.
Thank you to all of my supporters, volunteers and contributors who helped make this campaign enjoyable and memorable. I am especially grateful to have shared this experience with my wonderful wife, our children, our friends, and this incredible community that we have called our home for the last decade. My commitment to our community is what encouraged me to run in the first place.
I am committed to helping see our district and Texas be represented by leaders that share our core vision of conservatism in which the freedom of the individual trumps the power of government.
Many supporters, business leaders and friends have encouraged our campaign to remain involved. I can assure you that I will. Like you, I want to see our district remain a wonderful place to live and prosper.
After the runoff election on April 13, I hope that you will join me in electing the eventual GOP nominee in November to the Texas House of Representatives.
Warmest Regards,
David Sewell
